Baby it's cold outside!!

What happened to fall.  I think we went from the HOTT summer heat to the COLD winter wind.  Can't believe August was the last time I blogged!  I wish I was better about it, like my friend Chelsea who is so good about keeping up with her blog!!

So not too much has happened in the interim of me not blogging!!  I feel like all Shane and I do is work, work, work!  But hey, we're blessed to have good jobs and money in the bank, so I suppose I can't complain!!  I'm close to being done with getting my Medical Coding and Billing diploma, that work is sending me to school for.  I'm doing it all online, which is nice, but I also think if I had a physical place to go to I might get it done quicker...lol.

Well hunting season started in September, so hubs has been hunting A LOT!  He did get a buck last week, which he was very happy about and we will soon have yet another animal in the house!  I can't wait for him to have a "GAME" room when we build a house so he can house all his animals!!  And maybe I won't have to look at them on a daily basis!  lol.  And luckily we save so much money when he does kill a deer because I've actually learned to eat it and so Shane mixed ground deer meat and ground beef and it doesn't taste gamey at all!!

Last night, Shane and I went to see the movie Courageous!  It is awesome and a must see for everyone!!  I know it has touched many peoples hearts!!

This weekend I'll be seeing Reba McIntyre at Gwinnett Arena with my best friend Kel!!  We'll also be seeing Steel Magnolias and The Band Perry so I am so excited!!!  Going to concerts are one of my favorite things to do!  Thanks for my awesome birthday present Kel!!

Well I can't believe that Thanksgiving and Christmas is upon us!  It is coming fast this year!!  Thankfully I'm over half done with my Christmas shopping, because I don't know when I will have a lot of time to shop more!!

Well I won't let it be another three months before blogging again!!!  Surely, maybe...

Is it really August already??

Wow, where has the year gone?  I feel like I'm gonna blink and it's going to be December, luckily I'm proactive and am half done with my Christmas shopping (I know, be jealous)!

Can ya'll believe this long, hot summer?  I for one, cannot.  It's been BRUTAL!  I'm definately ready for another snowstorm!!  I won't complain this time, maybe.  I'm in definate need of a few days off!!  I'm dying to go to the beach, Nashville, or anywhere really for that matter, can ya'll have a chat with Shane for me PLEASE!  Before I go insane!!  He's says I've already been on one vacay this year, but I feel like I need four or five, maybe when we're rich!

Well in February, I began another trip into the wonderful world of school, hey, I'd be a career student if I could!  My work is sending me for Medical Coding & Billing.  Lucky for me, it's online and work at your own pace!  I'm proud to say I've gone from 40 exams down to the final 10!!  Woohoo!!  Can't wait to have one more thing under my belt!!

Tonight, our favorite guilty pleasure began, Jersey Shore, I ask myself, why am I watching this, but it just sucks you in, as reality tv usually does!  I really don't know what we did before reality tv.  I'd say it's about 80% of what we watch!!  I know, crazy!!

Not much else is going on in our lives lately!!  The girls came up last weekend and stayed.  We had lots of fun, ate, shopped, went to Chateau Elan and did a winery tour.  I'm so lucky to have such amazing girls in my life!!  I don't know what I'd do with out them!!  And I'm so excited for seeing Keith Urban and Jake Owen tomorrow with my bestie!

Hunting season is vastly approaching!  Which for me means, I will be a hunting widow from the second weekend in Sept to Jan. 15th, but hey at least the freezer will get stocked and I get some peace and quiet!!  HaHa!!

Hope everyone is doing good!!!

The Wedding of the Century!!

When I visited Westminister Abbey in 2001, I would have never imagined that 10 years later I'd be watching Prince William get married there!  I was too young then to truly appreciate the beauty of the abbey, but today I was in awe of it's splendor!

I started the day, by waking up at an hourly I hardly see (thank goodness)!  I never imagined Kate wearing a dress like she did, but it was beautiful, and befitting of a princess.  And Prince William didn't look so bad himself!

I kept thinking throughout the ceremony what Diana is thinking right now?  I would bet she is proud of the man that Wills has become, and equally proud of the partner he has chosen.  I thought it was so sweet when Kate walked down the aisle and Will leaned over and said "You look beautiful!"  Awww....

Pippa's dress, however, was a sore spot for me.  White?? Really??  I think the only one that should be wearing white at a wedding is the BRIDE!  I old fashioned in that way I guess.  The cut of the dress was beautiful, however!  She definately had a big job watching out for all those kiddos!  But the children seemed to behave beautifully -- maybe the Queen promised them a couple hundred pounds for their piggybanks!  And Harry was dashing as ever, I'm not sure which brother is cuter.  They are equally cute, but very different looking!  Kate's brother seemed a little awkward and out of place doing the reading, but I guess he was nervous having to read in front of 2 billion people, hey no pressure!  If I'd been asked to do that job, I think we'd know that answer!!

The queen looked like a little ray of sunshine!  To be eighty something, she's getting around pretty good!  Camilla's dress was a little drab, but I'm not a fan, I've always been on TEAM DIANA!  Hey maybe I should make shirts.  I was a bit surprised in Mrs. Middleton's choice of wardrobe.  I found it a bit boring!  Guess she didn't want to steal the limelight from the bride!

I thought all the readings that were chosen and all the words that were said were wonderful!  I'm sure they'll be a lot of copy catting of the program!  My favorite speaker was the Bishop of London.

Well I'm sad that today's events are over, guess now we have Harry's wedding to look forward too, and in the probably distant future the coronation of this lovely couple when they're crowned King and Queen of England!

Sunday Paper

Rule 1 in Couponing:

Buy a Sunday paper. My AJC this morning had $4 inserts! One coupon itself pays for ur paper. There is a $3 nivea body wash coupon inside which will make it .88 cents at CVS this week. If some of u can only buy the Anderson paper it may not have that insert because different papers vary, but it would be worth buying anyway bc of all the other good coupons.

Entry into the blog world...

So it begins...my entry into the blog-O-sphere!

I've been thinking about doing this for quite some time.  I read a lot, I mean several blogs.  I love reading blogs, I don't know why.  We can thank my friend Emily for getting me started reading them.  Shane doesn't understand why I read them..but I just love too!  After pondering a title for a several days, and with some help of my dear friend, Dana, I finally chose a name!  And here I am.  Here I can talk about life, and well whatever else I have on my mind on any given day.  I've also been asked by several people to teach them about couponing, so hopefully I can put some tips here for that!  I'll kill several birds with one stone!

Well that's all for now!  Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
